Lennie and I came home from the cool mountain air through Vegas. This was our first time over the new bypass bridge over the Hover Dam. I was so excited even after everyone I had talked to that had already been over the bridg had said "you can't even tell your going over it" and "you can't see a thing from it". Well they were right, I must say I was more than a little bit disapointed as we traveled 55mph over the smoth concrete road, and strangely enough I missed going over the dam, looking at the high water mark and the winding road. Don't get me wrong I didn't miss going slow but I did miss the view of the dam and the lake. Now if I can just get Lennie to stop one of these times to walk out over the canyon on the bridge.
